    I used to travel to London a couple of times a year on business. Got a taste for pub food, but the last day I'd have a craving for a taste of home.
    I rotate between Greggs, the grocery store meal deal (Tesco/Marks and Spencer or Boots), pub food or McDonalds when im there.

    Oddly Id rather eat McDonalds in the UK than in the USA. If
    I ever go to Mexico, id likely try and make a stop to McDonalds
    as well.


    Any restaurant, even fast food should have good food if it's prepared fresh.

    if you go to where nick lives (i used to drive by his house every day and peek in his windows on the way to work) the mcdonalds' drive thru's are always filled up. if the food wasn't good people wouldn't line up for it.

    London on an expense account was wonderful. The first morming, we had a
    full english breakfast in the hotel, which cost 25 pounds per person.
    Later that trip, we found a little basement cafe near the hotel with
    wonderful food and a back room. We told them the 5 of us wanted to rent
    out the back room and spend the day there - we spent probably 40 pounds
    for the 5 of us in coffee, pastries and sandwiches, with them checking
    in on us all day.
